Based on its long experience in fire protection, Sitek has developed a specific range of fire resistant insulation products – BATIBOARD – for use as core boards in fire doors and partitions, as well as fire resistant cladding elements.

These boards, which are available in varying sizes and surface treatments to meet specific customer requirements, are used in applications having obtained fire resistance classifications ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours, based on new European standards.

Batiboard core boards are lighter than traditional core material used for this type of application, making the doors easier to transport and to install.

The formulation of the Batiboard range of products has demonstrated the boards to have low linear shrinkage and good insulation characteristics during testing at high temperatures.

Batiboard is used by European door manufactures particularly in France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic.
